Frozen day-old chicks (not live birds) are frozen whole-prey feeders for birds of prey, large reptiles and wildlife rehabilitation. These are dead, frozen chicks prepared for feeding — never live animals.
Whole prey provides bone, organ meat and natural roughage in a single feed, close to what these animals would eat in the wild. The natural look and scent can help tempt fussy or recovering animals to feed.
Feeding and storage
Store frozen at -18°C and use within 6 months of purchase. Thaw fully in the fridge or in cool water before feeding — never feed frozen or partially frozen, and never refreeze a thawed chick.
Dispatch is Monday–Wednesday. Full details on Shipping & FAQs.
